X-Mas Shopping in Gardenia

*strolling down the busy Gardenia streets during a snowy day*

Carina: *shivering like mad* Brrrr! Sheesh, this place is freezing! ><

Sera: Um, I told you that we were gonna have snow today Carina. What'd you expect?

Carina: Nothing THIS bothersome! *brushes snow off her hat* 

Sera: ...Youuu don't get snow in Solaria, do you?

Carina: Pff, as if! Solaria's a place where the sun shines 24/7, we hardly get ANY kind of weather except for a very brilliant sunny day. *looks up at the sky expectantly, then sighs sadly* 

Sera: ....W-Well hey, Gardenia still has some fun things to offer during this time! Come on, we can get some hot cocoa at the cafe~

Carina: Hot...cocoa??

Sera: ...lemme guess, Solaria doesn't have any there either? 

Carina: *shakes head* 

Sera: figures... 

*they both head inside a cafe, settling down at a table*

Carina: *loudly slurps her drink* Mmmmm, now THAT is a good drink! *slurps some more*

Sera: Carina, that's kind of a big cup there...*looks a little worried*

Carina: So what?! Like I said, I still need to get this blasted cold out of me! *slurps down even louder* And if that means I'm gonna have to pump myself with this hot drink, so be it!

Sera: *groans* Oh alright....*under her breath* sheesh, you'd think she'd be used to the cold by now...

Carina: ..! *halts her drink, having picked that up* ...what'd you say? e_e

Sera: -Uhh nothing! I-It's nothing! *nervously laughs*

Carina: *glares* Don't play dumb, I heard ya mutter something! *nearly slams her drink on the table* 

Sera: *looks around flusteredly* L-Look Carina it's no big deal! I-I just find it kinda weird how you're so quick to rid yourself of cold weather. I know you're from Solaria, but you're usually alot more resilient than this...

Carina: ......hmpf! *grabs her drink again* Well, if you MUST know...is that ever since we had all those past encounters with those Trix dicks, I just can't get this annoying chill out of my system! I'm pretty sure that Jack is behind it....he IS the one with all that ice magic...*slurps*

Sera: Hmm, could it have been from that kiss you two shar-....! *realizes she let that slip* O_O

Carina: YOU CAUGHT US MAKING OUT?!! O////////O 

*everyone else in the cafe hears her outburst, turning their attention to her*

Carina: .....e-erm *clears throat, speaking more calmly now* What the HELL were you doing spying on us?? I thought you were out battling the others!

Sera: I-I WAS, Carina! I was just backtracking to make sure you were in on the action too....and BOY were you in on the "action" alright...e/////e

Carina: *groans in embarrassment, slamming her face on the table* -I STILL can't believe I let that happen! Me, letting my guard down around some ice-wielding smooth-talker creep...i-if word gets out about that encounter I'll be a laughing stock of the school! T_T

Sera: Ehh, I guess that's true...*pats her on the shoulder* But hey, it's not really THAT big a deal if you think about it. I mean you don't even LIKE the guy to begin with, right?

Carina: ....umm, well....*turns her head to the side a little*

Sera: Hmm...?

Carina: .....*sighs as she shakes her head* ....n-no, of course not...=////=

Sera: *softly smiles and shrugs* There, see? You don't have much to worry about then! It was a one-time thing, so you can just as easily sweep it under the rug...right?

Carina: ...heh, yeah. That's right...*lifts her head back up and forces a smile*

Sera: Good ^^ Well, we better get going then. The snow will pick up more in a couple hours, and I still need to get gifts for Mom and Dad. 

Carina: Cool, let's head out then. *grabs her cup, then pauses as she turns to the register* ...Uhh, can I get this to go?  

*once they step outside, and get back into the sidewalk crowds*

Sera: ....I do kinda have one question though, i-if you don't mind...

Carina: Sure, what's that? *goes to take another sip of her drink*

Sera: .....was Jack a good kisser? .////.

Carina: !!! *nearly chokes* S-SERA!! ><

Sera: *holds up hand* J-Just wondering!

...and finally I make a pic that's somewhat Christmas themed lol So here we're back to Carina and Sera as they go on a fun little shopping trip in Gardenia. While Sera doesn't really mind the chilly snow weather, Carina on the other hand isn't as big of a fan. So much, that she keeps trying every option to keep herself warm: wearing one of her thickest outdoor coats, staying near the heaters in certain stores, and buying a bunch of spicy and warm foods from the food carts along the way. Sera, feeling concerned for her friend, offers a cup of hot cocoa at the local cafe to help her calm down more. 

As her friend starts to relax with a big steaming cup, Sera can't help but ponder to Carina as to WHY she's feeling so jumpy from the cold lately. Reluctantly, Carina starts to reveal the truth...in that it's due to the constant encounters with the Neo Trix trio, more specifically from Jack. She goes on to complain about how his ice magic must've left it's mark on her from all their constant fights....while Sera offhandedly remarks that it must've been due to that kissing session the two shared ((aka, from here -> purfectprincessgirl.deviantart… )). Now Carina is totally flustered and embarrassed to know that Sera caught the two in the act, yet at the same time trying to deny that she had any other feelings for the ice-wielding wizard in question (*cough*notverysuccessfully*cough*). Sera understands though, and does her best to comfort her during these moments....well, for the most part

And yeah, at this point in time Sera's grown a little more bolder thanks to her time spent at Alfea. She's still got that awkward, curious sweetheart side though, so no worries there~ :>
