Sera's Journey Pt. 3

Here's the next installment of my "Sera's Journey" story arc. We follow forth several weeks in, as the magical exam demonstrations are about to unfold at Alfea Academy. Palladium takes the stage as he introduces the audience to the performances, as well as to Alfea's special guest...Bloom. As the powerful fairy is delivering her speech, her daughter Sera waits behind the curtains feeling nervous as ever. Something that doesn't go unnoticed by her best friend and study partner Carina. At first she doesn't seem too worried.....until she and Sera peek through the curtains to watch the first performance.

The first ones to take the stage are Lilly, Elsa, and Lilly's twin brother Drake (who's choosing to stay anonymous by shrouding himself in his dark magic). They begin their demonstration with Elsa taking the lead...summoning sharp ice shards from the ground. As she floats up to make them grow bigger, Drake's dark magic tendrils wrap around Elsa's form and corrupts her briefly, causing the ice shards to turn dark and even more jagged. Finally, Lilly uses her holy light magic to enwrap her body completely in light...then finishing off by leaping over the ice and letting her magical light spray over and make the ice particles glow in a beautiful display.

Palladium and the rest of the audience are definitely impressed, landing the trio in an A+ category. Can Sera and Carina hope to top it?
