HA! Girls: All Grown Up~

Sooo... guess what I've been binge-watching recently? Yep, it's "Hey Arnold!" I've had alot of fun revisiting this classic 90's cartoon, so naturally I felt like making a bit of art for it. So, here are the main girls from P.S. 118... only here, they're aged up to teen-hood~

-With Sheena, I didn't have to change much. Just made her taller, daintier, added glasses and pinned her hair up. I like to imagine she basically never cuts it as a teen and thus she just doesn't want to get it snagged or caught on anything when rushing to class. 

-With Rhonda, with her being such a "fashion-savvy" gal, I gave her a slightly more feminine outfit with the red dress, pumps, lipstick and longer hair. Attitude-wise, things probably didn't change as much for her.

-With Nadine, I let loose her wild pigtails and just let them flow down in a curlier fashion, along with a cuter outfit with the same old colorscheme. Most likely still collects a bunch of weird creepy crawlies, but tries not to show it off as she's growing up. *she's holding a spider in her hand btw

-With Phoebe, I kept her smol and cute, with just a bit more curve and a modest, nerdy flair to her wardrobe. Still plays lackey to Helga, but has definitely gained alot more confidence thanks to a certain jersey-wearing friend of Arnold's

-With Helga, knowing how brash and no-nonsense she is about being herself, I say she'd be the type to wear whatever baggy pants, loosely fitting shirt and lazily-made ponytails she can feel comfortable with... fashionable be-damned. At this point I can see her growing alot more mature about her love for Arnold (and most likely would be dating him too), as well as feeling comfortable enough to be more open about her passion for writing/theatrics in school. Of course, she can still just as easily kick someone's butt if they dare to cross her in the hallways. 

-With Lila, by now I'd imagine she'd grow so accustomed to the city that she slowly starts to steer away from her innocent farm-girl image a little with a more "stylish" outfit. Would most likely still be "ever-so-cheerful" as usual, and still would uphold the title of "Little Miss Perfect" with a pleasantly sweet smile.
