*edit: Felt like updating some spots since certain opinions have changed (and removed the "favorite/despised song" options since I didn't find them that necessary)

------------

Welp, as I mentioned earlier I finally got around to rewatching the entirety of Gravity Falls (from Season 1 all the way to the Weirdmaggedon Trilogy), so now it might be a good time to actually contribute something to the fandom. How about a meme? :D

Favorite Character: Wendy Corduroy :love: Words can't describe how much I adore this gal. Always so chill, laidback, fun-loving but also knows when to be mature and down-to-earth when necessary (even to the point of being a badass like in the Weirdmaggedon trilogy). I'd definitely LOVE to have her as a best friend IRL :la:

(Honorable Mentions): Dipper, Pacifica, Soos, Grunkle Stan and Bill

Despised Character: Gideon Gleeful :roll: He was so fucking annoying from start to finish...I mean sure he was a decent villain and he DID redeem himself by the end...but that didn't make him any less grating! From his stupid hair to his stupid "cheerful-but-cruel" attitude...UGH, I just wanted to punch this little twerp any time he was onscreen -_- He's like an animated version of Neville from "ICarly" lol

Favorite Season: 2 :D It was very intense and story-driven with plenty of build up from older episodes to deliver an epic finale :w00t:

Despised Season: None...even though Season 1 had it's flaws, there was still plenty of other redeeming qualities about it so I couldn't fully hate it :nod:

Overrated Character: Ford Pines :shrug: Eh, I don't hate him or nothing... but I just never really found him all that interesting or necessary tbh. Sure, he's got a cool-sounding voice and his past history with his brother Stan is pretty tragic but... on his own he just felt rather flat to me :/ maybe it's because he was introduced so late in the series that I didn't have the time to connect to him as much, but... eh, either way I just don't consider him a top favorite material like so many others do, sorry ^^;

(Dishonorable Mentions): Bill, Candy

Underrated Character: Soos :saddummy: while not really THAT ignored or hated on in the fandom, I feel like people just tend to see him as another "big dummy" type of comic relief (like Patrick Star)... when really, Soos proved to be SO much more than that in the show. Having an undying loyalty to Grunkle Stan and the Pine Twins, his past about his dad being very neglectful and absent in his life, and his eventual woes of finding true love being tested by having an evil videogame tamper with his mind. This guy's been through so much yet he still carries through it like a true champ... so I just gotta give Soos credit where credit is due :huggle:

(Honorable Mentions): Wendy, Grenda, Melody

Favorite Villain: Bill Cipher ;P Cliche choice but I can't say I blame everybody for loving him XD Bill was just the perfect blend of both crazy, clever, funny, and intimidating... he always left a big impression whenever he was on-screen and you can never tell what kind of messed-up stunt he'd pull next. Definitely one of the most memorable cartoon villains out there ;)

(Honorable Mentions): Giffany, The Woodsman Ghost

Despised Villain: Darlene the Spider Lady :| (Blank Stare) Ehh.....she was just, REALLY underwhelming of a bad guy/monster...and that's coming from a girl who LOVES fictional spider characters (and ironically fears them IRL :XD:). I mean the whole shtick of charming guys who use lame pick-up lines would've been an interesting angle to explore...but they didn't really execute that right. Even her true "spider" form wasn't all that impressive....just "meh" :shrug:

(Dishonorable Mentions)

Favorite Ship: Actually a tie.... between Wendip and Dipifica :blush: Yeah, might be kinda surprising but hear me out:

-With Wendip, I'll admit I wasn't all that fond of it at first since the constant subplots of Dipper trying and failing to impress Wendy just seemed to get rather tedious to sit through. BUT, after rewatching the show again and paying closer attention... I actually started to find their interactions rather sweet :aww: they had this closeness that never seem to falter no matter what, and though Wendy didn't ultimately accept his feelings at the end they still hung out with eachother and worked hard to save the day together during Weirdmaggedon. Perhaps when they're both a bit older and more mature I can see them having some real potential~ :love:

-With Dipifica, at first I would've blamed the cute fanart, but even their interactions on the show just really amused and entertained me too :giggle: With Dipper's honest snark and Pacifica's sassiness it made for a pretty funny combo to watch... sure they may not have interacted that much post-"Northwest Mansion Mystery", but I still think they had alot of chemistry to work off from anyway. Had they been given more scenes and episodes to star in together I say something special could've really happened between them :heart:

Despised Ship: Candip -_- Meh... this ship is just SO boring, like... there's nothing remarkable about it at all imo :no: They barely had much to do with eachother in the beginning, and I feel like it only really became a thing because Candy was the only other cute-looking girl left outside of Mabel and Pacifica (and I guess Wendy too, since I know others are still bothered by the "age gap" she has with Dipper even though it's only like, 3 years lol). And of course "Roadside Attraction" had to make things worse... but thankfully it was never brought up again after that one episode :phew:

Favorite Episode: "Northwest Mansion Mystery" & "Soos and the Real Girl" :D it was really hard to chose but I just couldn't leave either episode out~

-With "Northwest Mansion Mystery", I love it for the same reasons pretty much everyone else does. The dark backstory of the Mansion, the hauntingly beautiful visuals, the character development for Pacifica and the fun moments between her and Dipper. It was all just SO awesome~! ^w^

-With "Soos and the Real Girl", it was one of the episodes that REALLY got me to appreciate Soos' character (next to that "Blendin's Game" episode). From seeing his struggles with girls and the whole crazily creepy appearance of Giffany, it lead to an entertaining end battle and a sweet pay off for Soos now that he got himself a girlfriend who loves him for who he is, aww~ :meow:

Despised Episode: "Boyz Crazy" & "Roadside Attraction" :shrug: yeaaah.... these aren't really the type of episodes I wanna revisit anytime soon ^^;

*With "Boyz Crazy", looking back on this it wasn't so much Dipper's subplot that bugged me (I mean yeah, it was still wrong of him to try and ask Wendy out right after she broke up with Robbie... but at least he was just trying to protect her the whole time)... it was Mabel's subplot that gave me the most problems :facepalm: the way she selfishly kept trying to keep that boy band group to herself and away from her friends (who realized themselves that it was wrong of what she was doing), and not even give them any kind of freedom after breaking them out of their manager's grasp. Like, Mabel... I know it sucks that you didn't get to have a summer boyfriend yet... but will you just CHILL OUT for a moment? Sheesh... I mean I'm thankful she learned her lesson in the end but.... yeah, it still wasn't fun to watch -_-

*With "Roadside Attraction", man... talk about a bore :lol: I mean, some of the pranking jokes with the attractions were kinda funny and I liked how Dipper tried his best to move on after getting so much bad advice on girls... though did they REALLY need to add in that Candip subplot to the mix? :/ It just came out of nowhere and felt really awkward... and like mentioned before, not even Darlene could've saved the episode since she didn't even appear that much until the very end. Lame :yawn:
