Fluttermac: First Meeting

*In the Equestria Girls world, several years ago...at a Carnival*

Fluttershy: *walking around the carnival aimlessly* U-Um...M-Mommy? D-Daddy? *looks around* Oh dear...where did they go now?

*tries to look for her parents, who have walked away with the crowds, but she ends up bumping into a stand*

Fluttershy: Eeep!! So sorry! I-I didn't mean to-*turns around, only to find that the person at the stands is just a young boy, Big MacIntosh*

Big Mac: Oh howdy there miss *chewing on an apple* Ya here to buy somethin'? I got lots a juicy apples just picked from ma family's trees and they're really ripe and-

Fluttershy: *interrupts him* -No! U-Uh...sorry, I mean...um...*clears her throat* I-I'm trying to uh..look for my parents and..

Big Mac: Ohhh, ya got lost from them or somethin'? *chomps the apple in his hand* Well why didn' ya say so miss? I'll help ya find 'em!

Fluttershy: *looks up* Y-You will? Oh uh, you don't have to do that...um...I mean I don't want to be a bother-

Big Mac: Nonsense! *throws away the apple* It's the Apple Family policy to help out any willin' customer in need...even if they're flat as ol' broke! *chuckles* Say, what's ya name miss?

Fluttershy: O-Oh, my name? *blushes, looking down* ...uh, it's...Fluttershy..

Big Mac: *blinks* Huh? Sorry Mam...I didn' quite get that...*leans closer*

Fluttershy: *blushes more, practically squeaking* ..F-Fluttershy...

Big Mac: *catches that* Ahh, Fluttershy is it? Well that's a dandy name for ya...really "earthy"-like *nods approvingly, extending his hand* Well my name's MacIntosh...but y'all can just call me "Mac"...everyone 'round these parts do!

Fluttershy: *looks at the hand, slowly and steadily shaking it* ...O-Okay...M-Mac...

Big Mac: Right! Now, let's go find them parents of yours...*steps out of the stand, walking over to Fluttershy*

Fluttershy: Oh! But wait...what about your uh...stand?

Big Mac: What? That? *looks back* Nah, don't worry too much 'bout that miss...ma sis Applejack will take care of that. Though I bet ya probably know her already...ya both look the same age anyhow...

Fluttershy: *blinks* W-Who? Oh uh...s-sorry sir but...I don't know her..me and my family just uh..moved..

Big Mac: Ohhhh, ya did? Well golly, welcome to town then! *shakes her hand again* Say, once we find ya folks...I can guide ya around town to get the know the place...would that be a'right?

Fluttershy: *quiet for a bit, then smiles softly* ...O-Okay.

Big Mac: Great! Now, let's get on goin' then! *takes her hand as they walk through the crowds...Fluttershy quietly blushing to herself the whole way*

Hehe, yet another cute Equestria Girls fanart piece of one of my MLP OTPs, Fluttermac~. This time, depicted as young "tweens" (Fluttershy being about 11 or so, Big Mac being 12-13). Fluttershy (in my headcanon anyway) has just moved into town with her family, who decided to go explore the town carnival to mingle in with their new neighbors. On the way though, Fluttershy got separated from her parents by the big crowds, so she goes out looking for them when a helpful young boy, Big Mac (or just simply "Mac" at this point in time) decides to give her a hand in the search. In that time, they strike up a quick friendship that'll one day potentially grow into something more

Also yeah...in my headcanon Big MacIntosh was very "talkative" when he was younger. It's only until highschool rolls around that he gets quieter and brief in words...only really talking to his closest family and friends.
